Surely this is one of the tiny babies that hatched in our living room earlier in the summer.
I noticed this mantis while I was cutting the basil. I was reaching around the wooden stake to cut back some stems, and had been working there for several minutes, when I suddenly realized there was a huge mantis right next to me.
