I wanted so badly to play some games this weekend: X-Wing, or Wings of Glory, or Memoir '44, or Dominion. Plans for that fell through, so I ended up playing Up the River with my wife and daughters. It was fun, I enjoyed it, even though it's not really in the same class of games. I did, however, get to play a couple of rounds of Pitchcar Mini with them yesterday, and that was pretty good.
